Metro Travel Alert: DMRC suspended traveling in metro from 10 pm to 5 am PSU NEWS
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation suspended the entry in Metro from 10 pm to 5 am keeping in view of the imposition of night curfew in Delhi.

New Delhi: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, (DMRC) has recently issued its new timeline keeping in view of the imposition of night curfew in Delhi which is starting from tonight. Delhi metro suspended the entry in Metro from 10 pm to 5 am. Only those passengers are allowed to travel who fall in the essential category as per govt order, this only is possible after verification of their valid IDs by DMRC/CISF personnel, DMRC mentioned.
The Delhi Government imposed the night curfew, from 10 pm to 5 am, will continue till April 30, 2021.
DMRC also advises its users, who do not fall in the essential category, to complete the journey and reach there destination by 10 pm as they are not allowed to travel after 10 pm to 5 am in the night in the Metro as per govt order till 30th April 2021 or further orders whichever is earlier.
Earlier, the yellow line update also mentioned that Entry for Patel Chowk, New Delhi, Chawri Bazar, Chandni Chowk stations are temporarily closed to ensure social distancing as part of our crowd control measures and the only Exit is allowed.
On the other hand, Keeping people safe DMRC's initiative of penalising for not wearing a face mask properly & following social distancing is one the key element which aware people more on the safety measures.
Delhi records 5000+ cases in the past 24 hours and it is the highest single-day jump, this decision has been taken in view of rising COVID-19 cases.
