Maharashtra: Minister of State for the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas today, on November 28 interacted with officials of oil marketing companies at Nashik, Maharashtra. He took stock of the functioning of different oil companies in the state & urged the officials to ensure smooth operations & seamless delivery of services.

He also reviewed a presentation at the meeting. There are more than 7,700 petrol pumps, 623 CNG stations & 9,000 LPG distributors in the state. The oil sector in Maharashtra has created around 2.3 lakh jobs in the state and contributes about 22% of the tax revenue. Glad to know the role played by the oil sector in Maharashtra.

Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. GM (Works) Sh RK Sharma, HPCL DGM (Retail) Sh Shashank Dabhane, HPCL DGM (LPG) Sh Srinivas Patti, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited  Sr. Manager (LPG) Sh Sudipta Mukherjee, BPCL Sr. Manager (Petrol) Sh Rajiv Shinha, BPCL Sr. Manager Sh Deepak Waje & other officials were present at meeting.
