New Delhi: In line with the nationwide Swachhata Pakhwada initiative which started from 16th May to 31st May,2024, NTPC Bongaigaon today organized a Swachhata Talk at Salakati ME School, where 100 enthusiastic students participated. The event aimed to instill the importance of cleanliness and hygiene among young minds to promote a healthier future for India.

Dr. Kriti Agrawal, a Pediatrician at NTPC Bongaigaon, led the interactive session. She emphasized the significance of hand hygiene and shared valuable insights on the adverse effects and diseases caused by unsanitary surroundings. “Swachhata is not just a concept; it is a daily routine essential for a healthy life,” Dr. Agrawal remarked, inspiring students to adopt cleanliness in their daily lives.

The session included practical tips on maintaining personal hygiene and the importance of a clean environment. Dr. Agrawal’s engaging approach helped students understand the critical role they play in contributing to a clean and healthy India. The program was graced by the presence of Smt. Aduity Thakuri, CSR Executive of NTPC Bongaigaon, who reiterated NTPC’s commitment to social responsibility and community well-being. The Principal of Salakati ME School and Smt. Sandita Brahma was also in attendance, showing their support for the initiative.
