NTPC Kaniha Conducted CSR Stakeholders Meet- 2023
The program started with a presentation on different CSR works undertaken, key areas of CSR were explained and active co-operation of Stakeholder was sought.

New Delhi: NTPC Talcher Kaniha has conducted CSR Stakeholders meeting on 03.11.23 at Regional Learning Institute (RLI), NTPC Kaniha. The meet saw huge participation of stakeholders, the Sarpanch of Bijigol, Derang, Gadasila, Hariharpur and Kamarei. Village presidents of nearby project affected villages were also present during the event.
The focus of this meet was to discuss developmental needs in the nearby areas, evaluate the value addition of CSR activities and understand the basic needs of people village wise and address the needs and aspiration of nearby villages by taking appropriate action.

Also, developmental initiatives taken up by NTPC CSR in fields of Education, Health, Drinking Water, Rural Infrastructure were discussed. CSR Stakeholders also gave their valuable feedback and opinions on various CSR activities.
Distinguished Chief Guest of the program, Shri N S Rao, Executive Director of NTPC Kaniha engaged attentively with the perspectives, opinions and views shared by various stakeholders, sharing NTPC's unwavering commitment to enhancing the well-being of neighbouring communities.
During the inaugural session Shri Rafiqul Islam, AGM CSR NTPC Talcher Kaniha addressed the participants emphasizing the significance of the meet and the pivotal role played by the stakeholders’ in supporting NTPC CSR endeavours. He also elaborated on the community development initiatives in the vicinity and reiterated NTPC's dedication to enhancing the quality of life for local residents. And that CSR activity will be designed as per the needs of local community in consultation with key stakeholder.
