NEW DELHI- Oil India Limited (OIL) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Himachal Pradesh to collaborate in accelerating infrastructure projects in the state. The partnership will focus on the domain of alternate energy, including solar energy, green hydrogen, geothermal, compressed biogas, and more.
The MoU was signed by Shri Harikesh Meena, Director of Energy, Government of Himachal Pradesh, and Shri P K Goswami, Director (Operations) of OIL in Shimla, in the presence of Shri Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, Hon'ble Chief Minister's Office of Himachal Pradesh, Dr Ranjit Rath, CMD OIL, Shri Harish Madhav, Dir (Fin), and senior officials of the Government of Himachal Pradesh and OIL.

The collaboration will help in exploring and implementing various alternate energy solutions that will benefit the state's development and promote sustainable energy practices.
