NEW DELHI- Oil India Limited (OIL) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Himachal Pradesh to collaborate in accelerating infrastructure projects in the state. The partnership will focus on the domain of alternate energy, including solar energy, green hydrogen, geothermal, compressed biogas, and more.

The MoU was signed by Shri Harikesh Meena, Director of Energy, Government of Himachal Pradesh, and Shri P K Goswami, Director (Operations) of OIL in Shimla, in the presence of Shri Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, Hon'ble Chief Minister's Office of Himachal Pradesh, Dr Ranjit Rath, CMD OIL, Shri Harish Madhav, Dir (Fin), and senior officials of the Government of Himachal Pradesh and OIL.

The partnership between OIL and the Government of Himachal Pradesh aims to leverage their expertise and resources to develop infrastructure projects that promote the use of alternate energy sources.
