President of India to visit West Bengal from October 7 to 11
New delhi The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee will visit West Bengal from October 7 to 11, 2016.
On October 8, 2016, the President will inaugurate the Berhampore Military Station. On the same day, he will also inaugurate Kamoda Kinkar Mukhopadhyay Sarani and Silver Jubilee celebrations of Dishari Club at Suri.
On October 9, 2016, the President will lay the foundation stone of the 1st Floor of the academic block of Intensive Khadi and Rural Development Centre (IKRDC) in memory of Late Smt. Suvra Mukherjee, who used to be Chairperson of the IKRDC. He will also administer a Pledge for Nirmal Birbhum and Mission Nirmal Bangla to a mass gathering at Mirati.
The President will perform Puja in his village of Mirati as customary. PIB
