SBI extends the withdrawal facility in its new OTP Based ATM
New Delhi: India’s largest public lender State Bank of India has extended its new OTP Based (One Time Passcode) the facility of withdrawing cash now 24/7. The bank will effect the facility from September 18, 2020, and customers can withdraw the amount above 10,000.
Earlier in January, the bank launched the maximum 12 hours OTP based facility for customers from 8 am to 8 pm now the bank is extending it to 24hours in all State Banks of India from September 18.
The bank urged all the customers of the state bank of India to register or update their mobile numbers to use the facility. It will be beneficial for customers from unauthorized transactions and frauds also.
CS Setty, managing director (retail and digital banking), State Bank of India said, "SBI has always been at the forefront in ensuring convenience and safety to its customers through technological improvisation and augmentation of security level."
