SJVN Foundation signs MoU for reuse of waste papers
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Geeta Kapur, Director (Personnel) of the Corporation said that this MoU is an important step towards the sustainable development of CSR of SJVN.
SJVN Foundation signs MoU for reuse of waste papers
Shimla: SJVN Foundation signed MoU with SR Associate, Solan for the reuse of waste papers under CSR activities, with the main objective of recycling the waste papers and files, etc. collected from SJVN's Corporate Office and Project Offices by SR Associates. By this, reusable items such as paper bags, files, and copies, etc. will be manufactured and again distributed for use in office work and local communities.
SJVN, under its Corporate Social Responsibilities, undertakes various activities for the upliftment of the society like plantation, cleanliness, drug de-addiction campaign, environment protection, health-related camps, promotion of cultural heritage, social construction, construction of infrastructure, reducing the use of plastic. Organizes campaigns etc.
In the same sequence, in the august presence of President SJVN Foundation, Mrs. Geeta Kapoor, Mr. D. Dash, Executive Director (Finance) and Mr. V. Sankaranarayanan, Executive Director (CP), Mr. Avadhesh Prasad, Secretary-SJVN Foundation, Head of the Department, Mr. Gagandeep Sharma and SR Associates. Signed on behalf of Shri RV Singh.

Such works will not only promote environmental protection but will also cut down on expenditure for office use. SJVN has always been organizing various activities with emphasis on sustainable development and will continue to do so.
