Role & Responsibilities  
We are looking for a leader who has experience managing and executing both external and internal communications programs. You will help develop and execute key communication programs and activities to step up Thermo Fisher India’s media representation and increase our visibility within the country. The person will also lead the planning and execution of corporate marketing initiatives such as annual leadership meetings, customer stories, as well as act as a custodian for corporate brand guidelines. 

Corporate Communications    
• Ability to both think strategically and execute tactically
• Write and edit organizational announcements, messages, blogs, talking points, or other communication content as needed, ensuring appropriate corporate processes are followed
• Develop impactful corporate presentations 
• Create localized content for town hall presentations, manager communication decks, intranet, and videos.
• Liaison with advertising agencies, designers, printers, vendors, etc. for development of copy/content, creative for communication materials
• Assist senior leadership to develop communication/content strategy for the organization
• Track macroeconomic activities, media, and industry trends
• Manage country-level intranet strategy and sites; coordinate with sites and business units and develop content and stories as needed
• Manage country-level Yammer communities and identify new ways to grow the organic use of the tool
• Researching and responding to media inquiries, ensuring media sign-off protocols are adhered to
• Work with multiple stakeholders to develop an internal/external communication plan
• Developing and delivering a regular flow of news using the key business events calendar
• Producing media briefing materials to support Corporate and Marketing campaigns
• Maintaining and developing new content for the specific areas of the corporate website ensuring that it is in line with brand guidelines and published on the website promptly liaising with internal colleagues as necessary
• Develop and support corporate presentations 

This role will actively support the Corporate and Vertical Marketing programs driven centrally.

Candidate Requirement: 

Education & Experience levels:
• Minimum 7 years+ progressive experience in a corporate setting with experience planning and executing both external and internal communications programs and initiatives
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or related field is preferred
• Science industry experience a plus

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Expert writer, editor, and communicator (written and oral)
• Domain knowledge and prior experience
• Ability to influence business partners and facilitate collaboration and alignment between business and corporate objectives
• Excellent PowerPoint and MS Office skills; MS SharePoint content creation /experience a strong plus
• Sound problem-solving skills, e.g., ability to objectively analyze current practices, identify root cause problems and improvement opportunities, formulate a range of achievable options, outline relative strengths, build consensus for a preferred solution
• Experience with change management and communications.

• Professional presence and comfortable interacting with all levels of leadership
• Experience in SharePoint (editing and design),  Yammer and other Office 365 programs and applications, Adobe Photoshop or Elements (or other photo editing program), and basic video filming/editing skills
