Renewable energy major Suzlon Energy Limited has approved the allotment of 5.55 lakh equity shares following the exercise of employee stock options under its Employee Stock Option Plan 2022.

The decision was taken by the Securities Issue Committee of the board through a circular resolution on January 8 2026. The company allotted 5,55,250 fully paid equity shares of face value Rs 2 each at a premium to eligible employees and subsidiaries under ESOP 2022.

Out of the total allotment 5,53,250 shares were issued at an exercise price of Rs 5 per share including a premium of Rs 3 under the first grant while 2,000 shares were allotted at an exercise price of Rs 30 per share including a premium of Rs 28 under the second grant.

The total amount raised from the exercise of stock options stood at Rs 2.83 crore.

Following the allotment Suzlon Energy’s paid up share capital increased to Rs 2742.57 crore consisting of 1371.28 crore equity shares of face value Rs 2 each.

The company informed stock exchanges that the allotment has been made in dematerialised form and complies with the provisions of SEBI Listing Regulations and SEBI Share Based Employee Benefits Regulations.
