Amitava Mukherjee appointed as full-fledged CMD of NMDC
After Amitava Mukherjee's appointment as CMD of NMDC Limited was approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Wednesday, 05.03.2025, the Ministry of Steel issued the directive on Thursday.
Mukherjee will continue to serve as the CMD of NMDC until his retirement on February 29, 2028. Prior to this, he held the additional responsibility of CMD since the retirement of Sumit Deb on January 31, 2023.
Following Deb's retirement, NMDC Limited was placed under an ad-hoc arrangement starting February 1, 2023.
