BEL Presents ₹934.47 Crore Dividend to Government as Rajnath Singh Reviews DPSU Performance
Bangalore date 02.09.2026: Hon’ble Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh chaired the annual performance review of Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs). On this occasion, CMD BEL, Shri Manoj Jain, presented a dividend cheque (interim and final) of ₹934.47 crore for the government's equity holdings for FY 2025–26.
Hon’ble Raksha Rajya Mantri Shri Sanjay Seth and Secretary (DP) Shri Sanjeev Kumar were also present at the event.
The Hon’ble Raksha Mantri underlined that in 2025–26, India achieved defence production worth approximately ₹1.8 lakh crore, with DPSUs contributing ₹1.29 lakh crore. He termed this achievement a reflection of the nation’s significant progress toward building an Aatmanirbhar defence industrial base.
During the event, CMD BEL Shri Manoj Jain also apprised the Hon’ble RM of BEL's innovative products and indigenous technologies.
