BEML Bags ₹590 Crore Defence Contract from Ministry of Defence
BEML Limited has announced that it has secured a significant order worth approximately ₹590 crore from the Ministry of Defence, Government of India for the supply of trawl assemblies.
The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and the company confirmed that the order is part of its normal course of business.
Strengthening Defence Manufacturing Capabilities
The contract involves the supply of trawl assemblies, which are critical components used in defence applications. The order further reinforces BEML’s position as a key supplier to India’s defence sector.
The company stated that the project aligns with its ongoing efforts to support indigenous manufacturing and strengthen self-reliance in defence production.
