Bharat Electronics (BEL) Secures Rs. 596 Crore Defence Orders

Bangalore: Navratna PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a leading defence electronics manufacturer under the Ministry of Defence, has announced that it has secured additional orders worth Rs. 596 crore since its last disclosure on January 1, 2026.

The latest orders include drone detection and jamming systems, mobile communication terminals, software solutions, system upgrades, spares, and services, reflecting BEL’s continued dominance in defence electronics and strategic solutions.

“These orders underscore BEL’s commitment to supporting India’s defence preparedness while leveraging cutting-edge technology for modern warfare,” said S. Sreenivas, Company Secretary of BEL.

BEL, headquartered in Bangalore with a registered office on Outer Ring Road, has consistently been a preferred vendor for defence electronic systems across India. The company’s strong order book highlights growing demand for surveillance, communication, and electronic warfare solutions in the rapidly evolving defence sector.

The newly secured contracts are expected to be executed in alignment with project timelines, further strengthening BEL’s operational and financial performance for the year.
