CCL Invites Tender for Rejuvenation of Traditional Water Bodies in Magadh-Sanghmitra Area

The Magadh-Sanghmitra Area of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has invited online bids for the “Rejuvenation of traditional water bodies,” including the restoration of ponds located in Ojha Tola and Raham Village, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The tender, published on December 2, 2025, aims to improve water sustainability in the region by rejuvenating age-old village ponds that support local communities.

According to the Notice Inviting Tender (NIT No. GM(M-S)/SO(C)/2025-26/61/738 dated December 1, 2025), the estimated cost of the project is ₹99,77,239.44, with an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹1,24,800. The work is to be completed within 120 days. Input Tax Credit (ITC) is not available, price variation is not applicable, and participation of Joint Ventures (JVs) is not allowed.

 

Bidders must submit their offers through the Coal India e-procurement portal (https://coalindiatenders.nic.in) using a valid Digital Signature Certificate. The document download and bid submission window opens on December 3, 2025, and closes on December 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Technical bids will be opened on December 19, 2025, while the date for opening price bids will be notified later.

Prospective bidders may contact Shri Chitranjan Kumar, Staff Officer (Civil), and Shri Pankaj Sarkar, Project Engineer (Civil), for site visits and technical queries. The project reflects CCL’s ongoing commitment to environmental conservation, groundwater recharge, and improving the quality of life for communities in and around its command areas.
