New Delhi, March 12, 2025: The Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Earth Mover Limited (BEML) Shri Shantanu Roy and Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE Limited) Commodore P R Hari had a very insightful discussion in the presence of the Director Mining & Construction Business BEML, on India's rapidly evolving defence infrastructure and the strategic opportunities for Defence PSUs to collaborate. 

CMD Shantanu Roy's social post states that "As India strengthens its shipbuilding and engine development capabilities, partnerships between DPSUs like BEML and GRSE can play a crucial role in driving innovation, enhancing indigenous manufacturing, and reinforcing the vision of AtmaNirbhar Bharat."

He also said, Looking forward to leveraging our combined expertise to bolster India's self-reliance in critical defence technologies.
