DVC Inaugurates 8 MW Solar Plant at Panchet; Milestone in Clean Energy Push
New Delhi: Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) achieved a significant milestone in its renewable energy journey with the inauguration of an 8 MW Ground-Mounted Solar PV Plant at DVC Panchet.
The plant was inaugurated and dedicated to the nation by DVC Chairman Shri Rajesh Pandey, IAS, on 31 August 2026.
The occasion marks an important step towards clean energy generation, sustainable development and a greener future for the region.
With this addition, DVC continues to strengthen its focus on renewable energy as part of its broader commitment to a cleaner and more sustainable power portfolio.
