GRSE Announces Promotion of Smt. Aparajita Ghosh to Chief General Manager (Finance)

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) has notified the stock exchanges about a change in its Senior Management team. The company has promoted Smt. Aparajita Ghosh from General Manager (Finance) to Chief General Manager (Finance).

 

This promotion is effective from November 18, 2025. The official order will be issued by the Competent Authority on November 22, 2025. This change is a disclosure under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

Smt. Aparajita Ghosh brings extensive experience to her new role:

Joining GRSE: She joined Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited as Deputy General Manager (E-8) on September 26, 2014.

Prior Experience: Before joining GRSE, she worked for about 22 years in Chartered Accountants firms, private sector companies, and other Public Sector organizations.

Professional Qualifications: Smt. Ghosh has two professional qualifications. She is a Chartered Accountant (CA) since 1997 and a Cost & Works Accountant (ICWA) since 1990.

Expertise: She has proven skills in several key financial areas. These include financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, cost optimization, internal controls, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Contribution: Her strong analytical skills and deep understanding of cost structure and financial systems have significantly helped GRSE’s strategic decision-making and growth.

The company stated that the promotion reflects her extensive experience and leadership qualities.
