Indian Oil discloses profiles of 19 newly appointed senior management executives
New Delhi, January 11, 2026: Indian Oil Corporation Limited has released detailed profiles of 19 officials recently promoted to Senior Management Personnel, following its disclosure under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015.
The company, in a filing to the National Stock Exchange and BSE, said the appointments were earlier announced on January 10 and the brief professional profiles of the officials have now been placed on record.
The leadership strengthening is aimed at improving operational efficiency, supporting the company’s clean energy transition and reinforcing governance standards at the Maharatna PSU.
Key senior management appointments
Manas Ranjan Dwibedy, 58, has been appointed Executive Director, Health, Safety and Environment. A Fire and Safety Engineer, he joined Indian Oil in 1991 and brings over 35 years of experience across operations, safety, technical services and engineering consultancy.
Prakash Abraham, 57, becomes Executive Director, Employee Relations. An HR professional, he joined the company in 1993 and has more than 33 years of experience in human resources.
Sanjib Biswas, 56, is appointed Director, Marketing Operations LPG. An Industrial Engineer, he joined Indian Oil in 1994 and has over 31 years of experience in LPG marketing and OISD.
G R K Murthy, 58, takes charge as Executive Director, Projects. A Mechanical Engineer, he joined Indian Oil in 1994 and has more than 31 years of experience in refinery projects and maintenance.
R R Raje, 58, is appointed Executive Director, Human Resources, Refineries Headquarters. He joined Indian Oil in 1993 and has over 33 years of experience in HR.
Samarendra Nath Jha, 55, becomes Executive Director, Corporate Communications and Branding. An Electrical Engineer, he joined in 1994 and has over 31 years of experience in refinery operations, maintenance and human resources.
R Ravichandran, 54, has been appointed Executive Director, Operations. An Electronics and Electrical Engineer, he joined in 1994 and brings over 31 years of experience in supplies and operations.
Sarvesh Kumar, 53, is named Executive Director, Hydrotreating and Technical Services. A Chemical Engineer, he joined in 1995 and has more than 30 years of experience in hydroprocessing, refinery technology and alternative energy.
Nitin Bhatnagar, 53, becomes Executive Director and State Head. A Mechanical Engineer, he joined in 1996 and has 29 years of experience in supplies and operations.
B Navnith, 54, is appointed Executive Director, Corporate Strategy. A Chemical Engineer, he joined in 1995 and has over 30 years of experience in technical services, international trade and production.
A K Samantaray, 56, becomes Executive Director and State Head, Bihar. A Mechanical Engineer, he joined in 1994 and has more than 31 years of experience in LPG marketing.
Rajiv Sreshta, 57, is appointed Executive Director and State Head, Uttar Pradesh Two. He joined Indian Oil in 1996 and has over 30 years of experience in institutional business, lubricants, marketing strategy and corporate planning.
Sumit Basu, 56, becomes Executive Director, Polymer Business Development. He joined Indian Oil in 2009 and has 16 years of experience in petrochemicals and business development.
Sanjay Bhandari, 56, is appointed Executive Director and State Head, Uttar Pradesh One. He joined Indian Oil in 1993 and has more than 33 years of experience in retail sales, aviation and institutional business.
Puneet Agarwal, 58, becomes Executive Director, Business Development. He joined in 1996 and has over 30 years of experience in petrochemicals, marketing, new business and corporate strategy.
Saroj Kant Roy, 57, is appointed Executive Director, PC Aromatics and Chemicals. He joined Indian Oil in 1993 and has more than 33 years of experience in petrochemicals, supplies and retail sales.
Nitin Kumar, 53, becomes Executive Director, Corporate Finance and Treasury. He joined in 1996 and has 29 years of experience in corporate finance, strategy and economic studies.
Madhavi B Patra, 57, is appointed Executive Director, Internal Audit. She joined Indian Oil in 1994 and has more than 31 years of experience in finance.
Girish Ranjan, 53, becomes Executive Director, Director Marketing Secretariat. He joined Indian Oil in 1998 and has over 28 years of experience in retail sales, LPG and international marketing.
The company said the expanded leadership structure will strengthen execution, governance and long-term growth as Indian Oil accelerates its clean energy and infrastructure expansion plans.
