New Delhi: IndianOil Chairman Mr. A. S. Sahney held high-level discussions with Hon. David Eby, Premier of British Columbia, Canada, and his delegation in New Delhi as both sides explored opportunities to expand cooperation in the energy sector.

The meeting focused on strengthening India–Canada energy partnership, with discussions covering LNG and LPG supply, collaboration on green hydrogen, development of critical minerals, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) initiatives, and potential upstream partnerships.

The talks were aligned with India’s long-term Net Zero and clean energy transition goals, highlighting mutual interest in accelerating low-carbon solutions and building resilient energy supply chains.

Officials noted that the engagement reflects growing strategic collaboration between India and Canada in areas critical to energy security, sustainability, and climate commitments.
