The organisation recognised the remarkable careers of Jagdeep Kumar Rana, Gur Prasad, K. Sailendra, and Rajeev Kacker, whose work helped strengthen India’s LPG ecosystem, retail network, and operational excellence across the country.

 

Jagdeep Kumar Rana: Driving LPG Supply, Digital Transformation and Operational Excellence

With over 38 years of distinguished service, Jagdeep Kumar Rana made significant contributions across LPG operations, infrastructure development and HSE excellence.

During his tenure, he:

  • Strengthened LPG supply chains across Northern India and achieved record throughput levels.

  • Supported the successful rollout of the PM Ujjwala Yojana, expanding LPG access to millions of households.

  • Led digital transformation initiatives including SAP implementation at Karnal Bottling Plant and Indsoft rollout at Chandigarh Area Office.

  • Played key roles at Goindwal Sahib and Jaipur LPG Bottling Plants, including the first grassroots LPG BP commissioned on a cross-country LPG pipeline.

  • Ensured seamless fuel supply to defence forces during Operation Sindoor.

Widely respected as a mentor and leader, he leaves behind a legacy of operational excellence and future-ready capabilities.

 

 

Gur Prasad: Strengthening Market Leadership and Retail Transformation

Over a career spanning three and a half decades, Gur Prasad held key roles across LPG and Retail Sales in multiple states.

As State Head of Karnataka and later Maharashtra & Goa, he:

  • Led large-scale operations across diverse geographies and consumer segments.

  • Strengthened IndianOil’s market leadership in a competitive environment.

  • Contributed to retail transformation and advanced EV and energy transition initiatives.

  • Played a key role in shaping the go-to-market strategy for the company’s fertiliser joint venture.

Known for his people-first leadership style, he leaves a lasting impact on teams and markets alike.

 

K. Sailendra: Architect of Modern LPG Infrastructure

Across an illustrious 38-year career, K. Sailendra played a pivotal role in modernising LPG operations nationwide.

His landmark achievements include:

  • Pioneering India’s first indigenous mounded LPG storage vessels.

  • Introducing the first electronic carousel system in LPG operations.

  • Establishing manpower deployment benchmarks and automation initiatives.

  • Leading major infrastructure projects, including import facilities at Ennore, Kochi and Kandla.

  • Contributing to DBTL rollout and PMUY implementation across multiple states.

  • As Country Head of LPG Business, strengthening safety performance, expanding commercial LPG and introducing Ease of Business policies.

His leadership accelerated innovation and customer-centric growth across the LPG sector.

 

 

 

Rajeev Kacker: A Career Defined by Integrity and Professional Excellence

With nearly 37 years of distinguished service, Rajeev Kacker contributed across Maintenance, Projects, Materials & Contracts and Vigilance.

He is widely respected for:

  • Guiding teams with integrity and professionalism across roles.

His career set high standards of dedication and organisational excellence.
