IRCTC Part-time Government Director Manoj Kumar Gangeya Steps Down
NEW DELHI, JANUARY 16: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) on Friday informed the bourses that Shri Manoj Kumar Gangeya (DIN: 09744752), an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer, has relinquished his position as a Part-time Government Director on the company's board with effect from January 16, 2026.
The change follows an order from the Railway Board (No. 2026/E(O)II/5/2 dated 12.01.2026), whereby Gangeya has been relieved from his role as Executive Director (Planning) of the Railway Board, effective January 16, 2026.
As the government director's position on the IRCTC board is ex-officio and linked to the role of Executive Director (Planning), Railway Board, his cessation from the railway post automatically ends his directorship at IRCTC.
The company stated that the disclosure was made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The notification was signed by Suman Kalra, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of IRCTC.
The Railway Board is expected to appoint a new Executive Director (Planning) in due course, who will subsequently assume the position of Part-time Government Director on the IRCTC board.
