New Delhi: ITI Limited has informed the stock exchanges that the Government of India has entrusted the additional charge of Director (HR) to its Chairman & Managing Director, Shri Rajesh Rai, for a period of three months.

As per the order issued by the Ministry of Communications (Department of Telecommunications) and approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), Shri Rajesh Rai will hold the additional charge of Director (HR) with effect from February 28, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He will not be entitled to any additional remuneration during this period.

The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 to BSE Limited (Scrip Code: 523610) and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (Scrip Code: ITI).

Profile: Shri Rajesh Rai

Shri Rajesh Rai brings over 30 years of rich experience in the telecommunications industry. He assumed charge as Chairman and Managing Director of ITI Limited on February 21, 2023.

Prior to joining ITI Limited, he served as General Manager (Administration) at Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL), Mumbai.

He also held the prestigious position of Chief Technology Officer at Mahanagar Telephone Mauritius Limited (MTML), Mauritius, for 12 years. During his tenure, he oversaw the deployment and management of CDMA, GSM, 3G, and 4G networks, strengthening telecom infrastructure and operations.

Educational Qualifications

  • B.E. in Electronics – Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College, Gorakhpur

  • M.Tech in Computer Science – Jawaharlal Nehru University

  • MBA – Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi

Shri Rai’s extensive technical, managerial, and leadership experience is expected to further strengthen ITI Limited’s operational and human resource functions during this additional assignment.
