New Delhi: Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Eknath Shinde Inaugurates the Kopari Waterfront Development Project on 29th May, 2023. The main objective is to preserve and conserve the Creek benefited by Thane city and keep this area free from encroachment.
WAPCOS is the Project Management Consultant (PMC) for this project. Through this project, the conservation of mangroves adjacent to the Creek will be prioritized, aiming to prevent environmental degradation and future encroachment of the creek.
