NBCC CMD K.P. Mahadevaswamy Honoured at Vigyan Bhawan for Leading Anti-Malnutrition Drive

New Delhi January 2026: Shri K P Mahadevaswamy Chairman and Managing Director of NBCC India Limited was felicitated at Vigyan Bhawan New Delhi for his significant contribution towards combating child malnutrition through NBCC’s nationwide CSR programme.

The recognition was awarded for NBCC’s initiative focused on providing nutritious milk to underprivileged children in Gadchiroli Maharashtra Ranchi Jharkhand and several districts of Telangana. These regions face persistent challenges related to child nutrition and health making the programme a crucial intervention for improving early childhood development.

Under Mahadevaswamy’s leadership NBCC designed the nutrition support programme to ensure that vulnerable children receive essential daily nutrition necessary for physical growth cognitive development and stronger immunity. The initiative has already begun delivering positive outcomes including improved school attendance better health indicators and heightened community awareness regarding child nutrition.
