NCL Introduces Virtual Reality Training for Employees

New Delhi: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) has embarked on a new journey by incorporating Virtual Reality (VR) technology into the training of its dumper operators at the Central Excavation Training Institute (CETI). This innovative approach began on Monday, marking a significant advancement in employee training methods.

In the first phase of the training program, 169 dumper operators from various projects are being trained using VR training modules. Currently, these VR modules focus on providing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other essential training related to the 100-Ton dumper model 777-E employed in NCL's mines. This cutting-edge VR training module has been developed by NCL's Research and Development (R&D) department.
