NTPC Chairman Gurdeep Singh Inaugurates Goat Shelter at NLC India's SMD Mine-II
New Delhi, June 11, 2026: Shri Gurdeep Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of NTPC Limited and Chairman of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), visited SMD Mine-II and inaugurated a dedicated Goatshala established to provide care and shelter for 63 goats.
The initiative reflects the commitment of the SMD Mine-II team towards animal welfare and sustainable community-oriented practices.

Focus on Animal Welfare
