NTPC Green Energy Adds 37.5 MW Solar Capacity in Gujarat, Total Group Capacity Reaches 8,347.78 MW

NEW DELHI: NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has announced the commercial operation of 37.5 MW solar power capacity in Bhuj, Gujarat, further strengthening India’s renewable energy infrastructure.

This newly commissioned capacity is the third phase of a 150 MW solar project developed by Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited, a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power Pvt. Ltd. Ayana is a wholly owned subsidiary of the joint venture ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited.

According to the official disclosure filed with the stock exchanges under SEBI Regulation 30, the new 37.5 MW capacity has been declared commercially operational with effect from January 17, 2026.

 

NTPC Green Energy Capacity Update

The current commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy Limited Group stands at 8,310.28 MW. With the addition of this new solar capacity, the total installed capacity of the NGEL Group has now increased to 8,347.78 MW.
