NTPC Green Energy Declares Commercial Operation of 14.43 MW Solar Capacity at Khavda Project
New Delhi: NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) on Monday announced the commencement of commercial operations of an additional 14.43 MW solar capacity at its Khavda-I Solar PV Project in Gujarat, marking another milestone in the company’s renewable energy expansion.
In a regulatory filing to stock exchanges, the company said the newly operational capacity represents the eleventh part capacity out of the total 1,255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project, which is being developed under the CPSU Scheme Phase-II, Tranche-III.
The capacity has been declared commercially operational with effect from 00:00 hours on February 10, 2026.
Project and Ownership Details
The Khavda-I Solar PV Project is being executed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited. The project is located in Gujarat and forms a key component of NTPC Group’s large-scale renewable energy strategy.
