NTPC Green-ONGC JV Wins 50 MW Wind Project in SECI Auction at ₹3.85/kWh
New Delhi, July 15: NTPC Green Energy Ltd. (NGEL) has announced that Ayana Renewable Power Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green Pvt. Ltd., has won a 50 MW wind power project in the latest auction conducted by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
ONGC NTPC Green Pvt. Ltd. is a 50:50 joint venture between NTPC Green Energy and ONGC Green Ltd.
The project was awarded under SECI Tranche-XX, which invited bids for setting up 2,000 MW of ISTS-connected wind power projects across India through a competitive bidding process.

What the Win Means
Ayana secured the project after emerging as the successful bidder in SECI's e-reverse auction. The company won the 50 MW capacity at a tariff of ₹3.85 per unit (kWh).
The project will be developed under SECI's competitive bidding framework for interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected wind power projects.
Positive Step for Renewable Energy
The latest project adds to the renewable energy portfolio of the NTPC Green-ONGC joint venture, which is expanding its presence in India's clean energy sector. The company continues to participate in large renewable energy auctions as India moves towards its clean energy and net-zero goals.
NTPC Green Energy shared the development through a regulatory filing with stock exchanges on 15 July 2026.
