NTPC Invites Bids for 1.5 MMT Domestic Coal for Dadri, Unchahar & Barh

Noida, September 2026: NTPC Limited has issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the procurement of 1.5 Million Metric Tonnes (MMT) of domestic coal for its Dadri, Unchahar and Barh power stations.

The tender is being floated on Domestic Competitive Bidding basis through Single Stage Two Envelope system (Techno-Commercial Bid and Price Bid).

Quantity Split

• Dadri Power Station: 0.5 MMT

• Unchahar Power Station: 0.5 MMT

• Barh Power Station: 0.5 MMT

• Total: 1.5 MMT

Coal is to be supplied on FOR Destination basis at the respective NTPC stations through Indian Railways. The coal must be sourced from Indian coal mines other than CIL / CIL Subsidiaries, SCCL and NTPC Limited or any of its subsidiaries, joint ventures or group companies.

• Last date for receipt of queries: 06 September 2026 (17:00 hrs)

• Pre-bid conference (through VC): 06 September 2026 at 11:00 hrs

• Last date for submission of Techno-Commercial Bid and Price Bid: 08 September 2026 up to 12:00 hrs

• Techno-Commercial Bid opening: 09 September 2026 at 12:00 hrs
