Konkan Railway Signs O&M Pact for India-Nepal Cross-Border Rail Link
Mumbai: Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) has signed a Contract Agreement for the Operation & Maintenance of the Cross-Border Railway System connecting Jaynagar in India with Kurtha–Bijalpura/Bhangaha in Nepal.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Shri Dinesh K. Gajbhiye, Chief Mechanical Engineer, KRCL, Shri Paribesh Parajuli, Managing Director, Nepal Railway Company Limited (NRCL), and other senior officials from both sides.
The pact is aimed at facilitating smooth and reliable passenger train services between India and Nepal on this important cross-border rail link.
The development strengthens bilateral railway connectivity and supports seamless movement of passengers across the border.
