NTPC Invites Bids for 50 MVA 220 kV Power Transformer at Kudgi | Tender Worth Notice

New Delhi: NTPC Limited (A Government of India Enterprise) has invited online bids under Domestic Competitive Bidding for the procurement of one 50 MVA 220 kV / 11.5 kV Power Transformer for the CO2-ESS system at NTPC Kudgi.

Key Tender Details

• Scope: Supply of 50 MVA 220 kV / 11.5 kV Power Transformer as per technical specifications in the bidding documents.

• Bid Security: ₹10,00,000 (Rupees Ten Lakh only)
  (Any bid without acceptable bid security will be rejected as non-responsive.)

• Cost of Bidding Documents: Nil

• Financing: Mix of debt and equity

Qualifying Requirements (Technical)

Bidders must meet either of the following routes:

Route-1
Designed, manufactured and supplied at least two (02) nos. of 220 kV or above class transformers of minimum 31.5 MVA capacity (one each at two different installations) that have been in successful operation for at least two years prior to techno-commercial bid opening.

Route-2
Designed, manufactured, installed/supervised installation and commissioned/supervised commissioning of at least two (02) nos. of 132 kV or above class transformers of minimum 31.5 MVA capacity (in successful operation for at least two years) and designed, manufactured, supplied and commissioned at least one 220 kV class transformer.
(Additional performance guarantee of 3% of contract price required.)

Financial Criteria

Average Annual Turnover (AATO) of the bidder in the preceding three financial years should not be less than ₹5.92 Crore.

Important Notes

• Only Class-I local suppliers (minimum 60% local content) are eligible for specified items.

• Bidders from countries sharing a land border with India must be registered with the Competent Authority (with certain exemptions).

• All Bank Guarantees must be submitted in e-BG form through NESL platform. Physical BGs will not be accepted.

• Bid Security up to ₹1 lakh must be paid through Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) only.
