NTPC Vindhyachal Launches In-House Digital Safety System 'SWIKRITI'
New Delhi: In a significant stride toward digital innovation and operational safety, NTPC Vindhyachal has launched 'SWIKRITI' – a state-of-the-art online Protection/Permissive Bypass Management System (PBMS). The system was inaugurated by Shri Partha Nag, Chief General Manager (Operations & Safety), in the presence of Shri Sanjib Kumar Saha, CGM (Vindhyachal).
Developed in-house by the Operations and IT departments of NTPC Vindhyachal under the leadership of Shri Suman Kumar Singh, AGM (Operations), SWIKRITI is designed to strengthen governance, transparency, and safety protocols at the plant.

Strategic Importance:
Currently under pilot validation, SWIKRITI is poised to set new benchmarks in safety and operational discipline across NTPC’s power stations. With this system, Vindhyachal will become the first NTPC station to fully digitize the entire protection and permissive bypass process.
The initiative reflects NTPC’s commitment to digital excellence and safety-first operational culture. Once validated, the system is envisaged for replication across other NTPC stations, promoting standardization and best practices in operational safety management.
