PESB Invites Applications for Managing Director Post at Bengal Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Ltd

The Public Enterprises Selection Board PESB has invited operations for the post of Managing Director at Bengal Chemicals and medicinal Ltd BCPL, the first medicinal and chemical company of India innovated by Acharya Prafulla Chandra Ray in 1901.

The Managing Director will be the principal superintendent of the association, responsible for its functional effectiveness, achieving commercial goals, and reporting to the Board of Directors and shareholders.

Eligibility Criteria: Age minimum: 40 times residual service as per guidelines. Qualification Engineering Graduate, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, or Post Graduate or Graduate with MBA or PGD IM from a reputed institute. Experience At least 5 times accretive experience in Finance, Business Development, Production, Operations, Marketing, or Project Management in the once 10 times.

Preference will be given to campaigners with experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Employment Regular workers from Cases, Central or State Governments, Armed Forces, Public Sector Banks, Financial Institutions, or private companies with a periodic development of RS 500 crore or further. Pay Scale RS 65,000–75,000 Schedule C. operation Process Interested campaigners can apply online at the PESB website https://www.pesb.gov.in. The last date for operations is 300 PM on 21 August 2025, while nodal officers must further operations by 500 PM on 1 September 2025.

Private sector aspirants must include periodic reports of the last three times, evidence of board position experience, and supporting documents for age and qualifications. Company Profile BCPL, nationalized in 1980, operates manufacturing units in Kolkata, Animate, Mumbai, and Kanpur. It is a Schedule CC PSE under the Ministry of Chemicals and Diseases with 100 percent Government of India power. The company produces medicinal, chemicals, detergents, and FMCG products.
