Petronet LNG Approves CEO & Director Tenure Extensions
Petronet LNG Limited has successfully completed its postal ballot voting for key leadership appointments, as announced today. The resolutions were circulated through a notice dated December 6, 2025, and the remote e-voting period ran from December 12, 2025, to January 10, 2026.

Extension of Shri Akshay Kumar Singh as Managing Director & CEO
Shareholders approved a one-off final extension of Shri Akshay Kumar Singh’s tenure from February 1, 2026, to May 12, 2027. The resolution was passed with 98.55% votes in favor and 1.45% against from a total of 1,27,44,64,198 votes cast. -
Extension of Shri Pramod Narang as Director (Technical)
Shri Pramod Narang’s tenure was extended for a further two years, from November 26, 2025, to November 25, 2027. The resolution received 81.94% votes in favor and 18.06% against, reflecting strong shareholder support.
Voting and Scrutiny Process
The postal ballot and e-voting were conducted electronically, facilitated by NSDL, in accordance with Section 110 of the Companies Act, 2013 and relevant SEBI regulations. All votes were scrutinized by Ragini Chokshi & Co., Practicing Company Secretaries, who confirmed the results.

Corporate Governance Note
Neither resolution involved any interests of promoters or promoter group members, and both were passed with the required majority, ensuring transparency and compliance with statutory and SEBI norms.
