PNGRB authorizes Capacity Augmentation of GAIL’s DUPL-DPPL pipeline network

Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board has conveyed approval to state-run GAIL India Ltd for Capacity Augmentation of Dahej-Uran-Dabhol-Panvel Natural Gas Pipeline (DUPL-DPPL) from existing 19.9 MMSCMD to 22.5 MMSCMD.
This development will enhance GAIL’s business growth as the demand for natural gas continues to rise across industrial and urban segments.
With the starting of date of communication, the approval has been valid for three years. This regulation modification has no penalties or suspensions connected to it; GAIL said it will notify the stock exchanges of any financial effect or other adjustments.
