Ramanand Adhikari to retire as GM (Chemical) of Hindustan Copper Ltd
Hindustan Copper Ltd announces the retirement of Shri Ramanand Adhikari, General Manager (Chemical), after decades of service in chemical and mining operations.

State owned Hindustan Copper Ltd has announced the superannuation of its Senior Management Personnel on 30th November, 2025. Shri Ramanand Adhikari will cease to be General Manager (Chemical) of the company on 30th November.
Shri Adhikari possesses extensive experience in the chemical and mining industries, currently serving as DGM at Hindustan Copper Limited since April 1995.
Key responsibilities include leading various technological upgradation projects and reporting directly to the CMD in Kolkata. Prior roles at Hindustan Copper Limited include AGM (Chemical) and Chief Manager (Chemical), with significant contributions in operations related to copper electrolytic refining and metals recovery.
His career commenced at Hindustan Unilever Ltd, where operations of sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid plants were managed from April 1991 to April 1995.
His education includes a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law from Indira Gandhi National Open University, a Diploma in Management, and a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calcutta, along with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
