RVNL Wins ₹87.55 Crore Railway Surveillance System Order from South Eastern Railway

New Delhi: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a leading public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has announced that it has emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L-1) for a significant contract from the South Eastern Railway.

Key Details of the Project Award:

Client: South Eastern Railway
Project Value: ₹87.55 Crore (Rupees Eighty-Seven Crore Fifty-Five Lakh Sixty-Four Thousand Four Hundred Twenty-Four Only), exclusive of GST.
Scope of Work: The contract involves the "Supply, Installation, and commissioning of IP based Video Surveillance System (VSS)" in LHB coaches. The system will include 4 cameras per coach as per the latest RDSO (Research Designs & Standards Organisation) specifications, along with the provision of Rugged Hand Held Terminals (HHT)/Tablets and 8 TB external SSD storage.
Execution Timeline: The project is to be completed within 10 months from the date of the Purchase Order issuance.
Nature of Contract: Domestic project, awarded through a regular e-tender process (E-Tender No. 33255017). The company clarified this is in the normal course of its business and is not a related party transaction.
