SECL CMD Harish Duhan Felicitates Shri T V Rao on Completion of Tenure as IEM

South Eastern Coalfields Limited SECL on Friday witnessed a dignified ceremony as Shri Harish Duhan, Chairman and Managing Director, felicitated Shri T V Rao Retired IOFS, who has been serving as the Independent External Monitor IEM, on the successful completion of his tenure with the company.

The event was held at the SECL headquarters in Bilaspur in the presence of senior leadership, reflecting the company’s continued emphasis on transparent governance and ethical oversight.

Shri T V Rao, a former Indian Ordnance Factory Service officer, has been associated with SECL as an Independent External Monitor, playing a key role in strengthening compliance mechanisms, vigilance processes and corporate integrity. His guidance helped SECL further reinforce its commitment to transparent operations and good corporate governance practices.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Harish Duhan, CMD of SECL, appreciated Shri Rao’s valuable contributions and stated that his professional integrity, deep administrative experience and impartial oversight have significantly strengthened the organization’s institutional framework.

Also present at the felicitation ceremony were Shri N Franklin Jayakumar, Director Technical Operations, and Shri Ramesh Chandra Mohapatra, Director Technical Planning and Projects, who jointly acknowledged Shri Rao’s constructive role in fostering ethical practices and effective monitoring systems within the company.

The leadership of SECL expressed gratitude to Shri Rao for his dedicated service and wished him continued success in his future endeavors.
