New delhi: SJVN Limited participated in the meeting held during the Study Visit of the Department-Related Parliamentary Standing Committeee on Industry at Amritsar today. Sh. Santosh Kumar, Director (Hydro), Ministry of Power and Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), SJVN along with other senior officials of SJVN warmly welcomed the Hon’ble Chairperson, Sh. Tiruchi Siva and esteemed Members of the Committee.

The discussion focused on the implementation of the prescribed 25% procurement from Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) by CPSEs under the Public Procurement Policy. Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), briefed the Committee on the status of MSEs in SJVN and suggested measures to enhance the participation of SC/ST and women entrepreneurs under the Public Procurement Policy.
