SJVN Limited marked the beginning of the professional journey of its Executive Trainees – Batch 2026 with the commencement of a five-day Induction Training Programme at its Corporate Headquarters in Shimla. A total of 78 newly joined Executive Trainees are participating in the programme.

Shri Bhupender Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, SJVN Limited, congratulated the trainees and extended his best wishes as they embark on their careers with the organization. He encouraged them to embrace learning, professionalism and innovation while contributing to SJVN’s continued growth and excellence in the power sector.

The inauguration ceremony was chaired by Shri Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), SJVN, who warmly welcomed the trainees and shared insights into the organization’s vision, core values and expectations. He motivated the trainees to uphold high standards of integrity, discipline and innovation in their professional conduct.

Senior officials including Shri S. Marasamy, Executive Director (Civil); Shri C. S. Yadav, Executive Director (HR); Shri Ravi Rajan, Executive Director (Mechanical); Shri S. K. Garg, Executive Director (Civil); and Shri Vivek Bhatnagar, Chief General Manager (Finance) interacted with the newly inducted trainees and shared their experiences and guidance.

The Executive Trainees Batch 2026 represents a diverse mix of disciplines such as Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Information Technology, Human Resource, Finance, Environment, Geology and Law, reflecting SJVN’s multidisciplinary workforce requirements.

The welcome address and a detailed overview of the one-year structured training programme were presented by Shri Anurag Bhardwaj, Deputy General Manager (HR), outlining the learning modules, exposure and development framework designed to groom future leaders of the organization.
