WCL Launches Digital Transfer and Visitor Management Portals to Boost Transparency

Western Coalfields Limited has launched two new in-house digital portals as part of its “Digital WCL” initiative aimed at enhancing transparency and improving organizational processes.

The portals were inaugurated on May 21, 2026, under the leadership of Dr. Hemant Sharad Pande, CMD of WCL.

The newly introduced online transfer portal will allow non-executive employees to apply for Request, Mutual, and Temporary Inter-Area Transfers digitally in a transparent and streamlined manner.

Alongside this, WCL also launched the “Swagat Portal” for digital visitor management at the company’s headquarters.

The launch event was attended by Shri Bikram Ghosh, Director (Finance/HR), and Shri Sandeep Paranjape, Director Technical (P&P), along with heads of departments and senior officials of WCL Headquarters.

Teams from the System and Industrial Relations departments demonstrated the features and functionality of both portals during the event.
