Mumbai: Coal India Limited (CIL) has announced the allocation of Post-MBBS DNB and Diploma medical seats for its in-service doctors at Central Hospital, Ranchi and Central Hospital, Dhanbad, following accreditation from the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).

The seats will be filled from NEET-PG 2025 qualified candidates who are currently working in the regular executive cadre of CIL’s medical discipline. Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) will act as the nodal agency for counselling and selection.

Available Seats

Post-MBBS DNB

  • General Surgery – 1 seat (Dhanbad)

  • General Medicine – 2 seats (Dhanbad & Ranchi)

Post-MBBS Diploma

  • Family Medicine – 1 seat (Dhanbad)

  • Ophthalmology – 3 seats (2 at Ranchi, 1 at Dhanbad)

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Be regular executive cadre medical officers of CIL

  • Have completed one year of mandatory probation

  • Have qualified NEET-PG 2025 with valid rank

  • Have at least five years of service remaining after course completion

  • Have a clear service record with no major disciplinary issues

Seat allotment will be based strictly on NEET-PG merit ranking.

Service & Bond Conditions

Selected candidates will:

  • Continue receiving full salary during the training period

  • Execute a five-year service bond after course completion

  • Be temporarily posted at the respective training hospital

  • Return to their original posting after completing the course

Failure to complete the course or serve the bond period will require full repayment of salary drawn during training with interest.

Fee Structure (Payable by Candidate)

  • Tuition Fee: ₹75,000 per year

  • Library Fee: ₹15,000 per year

  • Appraisal Fee: ₹15,000 per year

  • Accommodation: ₹20,000 per year
