Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• MBBS degree or equivalent from a recognized university
• Registration with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council
• Knowledge of Bengali

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years post-internship clinical experience in government hospitals, PSUs, Armed Forces, ESI, or private hospitals
• Desirable: industrial/occupational health experience, emergency medicine, women’s health exposure, or experience with medical audits/claims verification

Age Limit:

• Upper age limit: 64 years as on April 13, 2026

Roles & Responsibilities

The Medical Officer will be responsible for:

• Out-patient consultation and treatment of employees and dependents
• Emergency care and first-aid during accidents
• Conducting pre-employment, periodic, and statutory medical examinations
• Issuing medical and fitness certificates
• Maintaining health records and ensuring occupational health monitoring
• Verifying hospital bills and medical claims
• Implementing health education programs and advisory services

Remuneration & Benefits

• Monthly Consolidated Pay: ₹75,000 for the first year, with annual increments per HCSL policy
• Additional benefits: Contributory Provident Fund, Medical and Accident Insurance, reimbursement of medical expenses
• Higher pay may be offered to candidates with more relevant experience
