New Delhi, 8 September 2026: Hero MotoCorp Limited has informed the stock exchanges that it received order(s) from the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Gurugram, Haryana, marking a lien of approximately ₹4.80 crore on a few of its bank accounts.

  • Nature of Action: Order directing banks to refrain from releasing funds up to ₹4.80 crore (approx.) until further orders

Company’s Response

The amount under the order has already been paid. Hero MotoCorp is in the process of taking appropriate steps, including filing of appeals before the competent courts/appellate authorities.

The management is of the opinion that the orders are unsustainable and are unlikely to have any material impact on the financials, operations or other activities of the Company.

The disclosure has been made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations.
