IIT Bombay’s SINE, EXIM Bank Sign MoU to Boost Startup Funding

Mumbai, September 8, 2026: The Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SINE), IIT Bombay and EXIM Bank have signed an MoU for the EXIM Bank–SINE Seed Fund Programme, aimed at creating funding opportunities for innovative startups.

The MoU was signed during World Entrepreneurs' Day 2026, where SINE brought together founders, investors, corporates, institutions and ecosystem partners for discussions on innovation, entrepreneurship and startup growth.

The EXIM Bank–SINE Seed Fund Programme is expected to provide innovative startups with access to capital and support their growth.

The event also featured insights from Prof. Shireesh Kedare, Director, IIT Bombay, and Tarun Sharma, Deputy Managing Director, EXIM Bank, along with discussions on CSR partnerships, semiconductor innovation and startup–corporate collaboration.
