The awards were presented in New Delhi to Shri Shantanu Roy, CMD, BEML Limited, by Shri Anupam Kher, National Award-winning actor and a revered figure across generations. Instituted by Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (The Times of India Group), the ET Leadership Excellence Awards celebrate organizations and leaders who have set benchmarks in excellence, trust, and innovation.

BEML was recognized for its pioneering contributions, including the rollout of India’s first Vande Bharat Sleeper Trainset, the indigenously developed 1,500 HP tank engine, next-generation mining and defence solutions, high-mobility vehicles, and contributions to bullet train projects, among others.
