Axis Bank Allots 88,198 Equity Shares Under ESOP, Paid-Up Capital Increases
Mumbai: Private sector lender Axis Bank on Tuesday announced the allotment of 88,198 equity shares of face value Rs 2 each following the exercise of stock options and units under its ESOP and RSU Schemes.
As a result of the allotment, the Bank’s paid-up share capital has increased from Rs 6,210.44 crore (3,105,220,003 equity shares) to Rs 6,210.62 crore (3,105,308,201 equity shares).
The disclosure was made to the stock exchanges in compliance with regulatory requirements. Axis Bank said the move reflects continued employee participation in the Bank’s long-term growth and performance strategy.
The development was communicated to both the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) and BSE Limited on January 13, 2026.
