Canara Bank Signs Strategic MoU with State bank of india (SBI)
New Delhi, January 9, 2026: Canara Bank has announced the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State Bank of India’s Project Finance Centre of Excellence. The collaboration is aimed at knowledge sharing, strengthening risk management practices, and supporting India’s growth in key sectors such as e-mobility, semiconductors, and smart infrastructure.
Under this MoU, both banks will work closely to leverage their expertise in project finance, develop robust risk assessment frameworks, and exchange best practices in financing large-scale infrastructure and technology-driven projects. The initiative is expected to accelerate financing solutions for emerging sectors, driving sustainable growth and innovation.
